Brodmann, Mosimann & Partners AG is run by Daniel Brodmann and Georg Mosimann. We are supported by a team of knowledgeable and dedicated employees whose skills we ensure match the job at hand and who pursue continuous professional development. When needed, additional competent and experienced specialists are on hand to assist us both in Switzerland and abroad.

Originally, the company was founded by Philippe Steiger and Walter Zumstein in April 2000 as Steiger, Zumstein & Partners AG. The two founders, who built up the company with great dedication and vision, are now enjoying their well-earned retirement.

Brodmann, Mosimann & Partners operates both in the Basel region and nationally and internationally. We have in-depth knowledge and experience in a wide range of areas. So we can also act as board members or in operational roles such as management and administration of your family businesses or Group companies.

Linguistic diversity is another core competency of Brodmann, Mosimann & Partners. We communicate with our customers in English, French, German and Italian.

At a leading (Big Four) business consultancy in Basel, Daniel Brodmann was in charge of complex mandates and projects in the field of accounting and reporting. He then took on line functions as the Head of the Trust Department and as Chief Financial Officer, before coming to what is now Brodmann, Mosimann & Partners AG in 2008.

 

His expertise encompasses accounting and advice on financial statements, tax (incl. VAT), social insurance and pensions in Switzerland and, in some instances, its two neighbouring countries Germany and France.

 

Daniel Brodmann also has a complete understanding of planning and implementation of tax-related matters in the business and personal income, assets and pension situation of business owners.

 

Trusting and often highly personal customer relationships include succession and estate planning. Daniel Brodmann has a wealth of experience and the required finesse to provide support in these matters and to effectively lighten the load on family members in their implementation.

 

His work also covers mandates as a board member and trustee. Daniel Brodmann also acts as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Brodmann, Mosimann & Partners AG.

Georg Mosimann

Georg Mosimann spent over 10 years working as an auditor and consultant at a leading (Big Four) business consultancy in Zurich and Hong Kong. He was then entrusted with the lead role for accounting at a listed company in Winterthur. In summer 2014, Georg Mosimann joined the company now known as Brodmann, Mosimann & Partners. In the context of a long-term succession planning arrangement, he took over the duties of Walter Zumstein and Philippe Steiger.

 

Georg Mosimann has many years of experience in managing and supervising complex operational and financial tasks and projects in Switzerland and abroad (Europe, Asia, USA, Africa). He advises and supports small and medium-sized enterprises as well as corporations. He is responsible for mandates of start-ups, companies in phases of rapid growth, during reorganization and restructuring phases, and for transactions (due diligence, valuations, etc.).

 

Through his many assignments and projects, Georg Mosimann has acquired profound knowledge as a financial expert, which he is also passing on as an advisor and expert for the Swiss federal diploma examinations for auditors.

 

He brings his broad-based experience and holistic approach to the table on the side of both the company and the owners. He has in-depth knowledge in particular in the financial and strategic management of companies. He also advises business owners and private individuals on financial and business tasks and as a sparring partner, including as Group CFO, member/chair of several boards of directors and boards of trustees, and as Chair of a family board.

 

Furthermore, Georg Mosimann supports asset managers and financial intermediaries with regard to implementation of and compliance with existing and new legal requirements.
